FAQs
Registration details are used for three purposes:

To provide the full name that will be included on a certificate of attendance (if requested) and the email address to which the certificate will be issued. Please ensure these details are correct and use a professional/work email address if you intend to use the certificate for CPD purposes.

To confirm and validate the name of the person who will attend or has attended the training event.

To subscribe individuals to receive the Responsible Research email newsletter. NOTE – there is an opt-out option that can be selected during the registration process. Every email newsletter also contains an ‘unsubscribe’ link.
Responsible Research does not share registration details with external organisations. If this is required for specific training programmes, to provide access to specific externally sourced software and/or training resources, then individuals will receive a specific authorisation request to complete and return.

No. The system does not allow for the webinars to be downloaded. It is therefore recommended that individuals only register and start the on-demand webinar when they are able to complete it without significant interruption.
Yes. We take the job of certificate of attendance validation checks very seriously and carry out several checks before any certificates are issued. These include:

Recording the date and time that the person starts and finishes watching the webinar (live or on-demand).

Comparing the ‘in-session time’ recorded for the person with the ‘expected time’ that we know indicates that the webinar has been completed.

We can only validate attendance when an individual registers for the webinar (live or on-demand) and uses their personal joining link to watch and complete the webinar.
If an individual watches and completes a webinar using someone else’s joining link, or by watching the webinar accessed by another individual we cannot validate this, and we will not issue a certificate.
If there is evidence from the validation checks that a person has not watched and completed a webinar as intended, then they will be notified via email and given 2 options:

To complete the full webinar on-demand and notify us when this action has been taken. We will run our checks again and if satisfied issue the certificate of attendance.

To have the certificate of attendance fee refunded minus an administrative fee (50% of the certificate cost).

We offer two payment options:

A debit or credit card payment can be made via our secure online payment system (Stripe). Note: A receipt for Stripe payments is automatically sent to the email address provided.

An invoice to pay via bank transfer can be requested by emailing admin@responsibleresearch.co.uk

Yes. We offer a group discount when there are 4 or more individuals from the same organisation registering at the same time to attend the same training. For more information email us at: admin@responsibleresearch.co.uk.
